The Sheriff’s Communications Division handles public information and media releases and directs written records through the request system. Written arrest affidavits and reports are unavailable after hours and on weekends, so submit the request and allow records staff to process it during normal operations.
Choose the route that matches the question:
- For a booking photo or arrest report, start with the home page records path, then submit a focused Sheriff public-records request.
- For someone arrested today, use the Daily Arrest Report; use the Weekly Arrest Log for the broader window.
- For live county jail custody, check the Sheriff roster or call the jail. For release alerts, use the VINELink Inmate Check.
- For filed cases, certified court records, bond records, or seal and expunge forms, contact the St. Lucie Clerk Criminal Department rather than the jail.
